Color Theory at the Dequindre Cut

One of my favorite blogs is Dirt Simple, written by the multi-talented renaissance woman Deborah Silver. In addition to being a brilliant landscape designer, retailer, and artist, she is a gifted writer. Lately she has been sharing her wisdom about the use of color in landscape and plantings.

Today while walking the dogs on the Dequindre Cut trail, I was struck by how the combinations of color that the graffiti artists used match those that she highlighted in nature and landscape design.
