Trees Make The Best Sculptures

I walked the dogs near dusk and was a little obsessed with the shapes of naked trees. It was like "trees by Giacometti" or something... maybe it was the scent of a coming snowstorm in the air. The light from day was so faded that it wasn't a stretch to make these black and white.

The tree sculptor tagged his work, apparently.


We walked out on one of the fishing piers to get a better view of the city. I never worry about the smart dog falling off..she swims beautifully, and would follow directions back to shore, but the fluffy one.... I keep both dogs on a tight leash on the pier.

When we returned home, our neighbors had put up their Christmas lights.
