Shoreline Mosaics

Someone is hard at work along the edge where the lake meets the river.....twice I have been at Belle Isle and saw from afar people dressed in flowing robes crowned with garlands...I like to imagine that they are the river spirits, making seasonal offerings to the lake gods (or renaissance fair escapees?) Maybe Atlantis is at the bottom of one of the Great Lakes, and these are all that's left.
